Barbecue Grills For Summer Fun!

Barbecue and grills make the perfect combination for a summer family get-together. Whether you're using a gas grill, charcoal, or even electric grills to cook your meal, the family will love the taste and the effort that you put into your Barbecue. Barbecue and grills are a great way to bring the family together.

Choosing a grill is typically the hardest part about the Barbecue experience. The fight over whether to use a gas grill or a charcoal grill has been the source of many debates for decades. Great Barbecue isn’t all about technique and the choice of which grill to use is important, to be sure. But the most important part of the grilling experience and making great Barbecue is to use the grill with which you are the most comfortable.

A gas grill is the perfect choice for beginners. The amount of control that be exerted over the heat is perfect, and the grill works quickly and efficiently. You won't have to worry about burning yourself with hot coals, and your grill will be ready when you are. Newer gas grills even have secondary fireboxes into which you can place your wood of choice, but typically this is a feature that only more expensive grills have.

Of course, charcoal grills aren't difficult to use, but they do take some finesse. The heat of a charcoal grill can be quickly adjusted, as well, but it does take more experience to know the perfect temperature and keep your Barbecue grill at that “sweet spot” for the right amount of time. Charcoal Barbecue grills have the added advantage of being able to use wood chips on even the least expensive model, turning your inexpensive charcoal grill into a passable smoker.

Electric grills are a phenomenon that has been popularized in the past 10 years or so. Electric grills are usable by people in apartments, where the extreme heat and the smoke from both a gas grill and a charcoal Barbecue may not be welcomed. They typically don't offer the ability to put forth the extreme heat of a fueled grill, but they are certainly advantageous for people who aren't comfortable working with open flames.
